Tonight, MSC Cruises will celebrate the naming of its eagerly awaited flagship, MSC World America!

A spectacular ceremony at the line’s cutting-edge MSC Miami Cruise Terminal—the most advanced cruise terminal in the world – will mark and extraordinary milestone. This highly anticipated event promises to be unforgettable.

As guests explore MSC World America, they will be serenaded by our amazing 32 musicians in the ship’s lounges, where vibrant live sets will be happening. In the ship’s grand theatres, larger-than-life productions will captivate audiences with breathtaking compositions and thriving energy!

Following the festivities, MSC World America will embark on a special two-day cruise to the stunning Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. MSC World America is set to redefine the cruising experience! Stay tuned for all the details about this amazing, unforgettable day!

On April 5, MSC Cruises unveiled the world’s largest cruise terminal in Miami, Florida. This advanced MSC Miami Cruise Terminal sets a new global standard for cruise infrastructure by introducing a fully biometric embarkation process with digital identity verification, ensuring a smooth experience for guests.

MSC Cruises will have a total of four ships sailing from the new terminal throughout 2025, including its newest flagship MSC World America, which will be joined by ships from MSC Group’s luxury travel brand, Explora Journeys.

The world’s largest cruise terminal has the capacity to accommodate up to 36,000 passengers daily. Terminal is equipped with shore-to-ship power connectivity to allow ships to turn off their engines and produce less emissions while in port. The facility also features systems for waste management, water recycling, and the use of sustainable materials.

The excitement is reaching new heights as MSC World America, the newest and 23rd addition to the MSC Cruises fleet, prepares to make her debut in April 2025! This groundbreaking ship, a sister vessel to the renowned MSC World Europa, promises an extraordinary experience for both guests and performers alike.

Among her many highlights, MSC World America will feature the spectacular Speakeasy, the exciting addition of dynamic production showbands, the second edition of our iconic Seamen’s Club formation, besides all the super venues on board, adding the unique stage on Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, located on MSC’s exclusive private island – a true Caribbean paradise – and much more. These world-class venues offer unparalleled opportunities for musicians to showcase their talents while connecting with a global audience.

Adding to the excitement, MSC Cruises will inaugurate its state-of-the-art terminal at PortMiami on April 9, 2025, which will take place alongside the naming ceremony of MSC World America.
